Dead in Orbit

Silenced, hands bound, beaten to the ground. Aimless with the pull of a thousand stars. I'm still alive, lay feign. Reformative, my eyes a glowing burn. Changed am I forever. On a hiding to nothing. Celestial death, so much to sacrifice. But you won't take me alive. Beside myself, a distant bell rings. Divert your minds. You begin to fall into the event horizon. Drop control. Surface gone.

I am the last of the flock that fell. Don't get me wrong. Time will tell what is real or real enough. In this space, I'm changing shape. I transform all light from mouth and eyes. A manic conduit. I send searing winds from the skies to the earth swallowing what drifts in between. I'll light, I'll guide, and I'll blind. What is real or real enough?

Absent without thought. A focused stare suspended. No urgency, I lie in weight. Responsiveness gone in time. I don't live here, I am stuck here. Detached from form, a particle ploy. Against myself, I wait in the void. Reprocessing. A chemical doorway. Lookout for my ghost, all who enter here. Consume my white flag once again. A synapse abstraction. Don't fall into it, you won't exist. Don't fall in, gone in time.
